Balen Shah Announces Free Education for Grades 11 & 12 | Big Step by KMC | Free +2 Education in Kathmandu

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has made a bold and historic decision — students will now get free education up to Grade 12! This means students studying in government schools will no longer have to pay tuition fees for Grades 11 and 12 (plus two level).

This move aims to benefit thousands of students, especially those from economically weaker backgrounds.
It is part of KMC's effort to promote educational equality, accessibility, and quality in Nepal.
The plan is expected to bring a positive shift in the education system of the capital city.

मिति २०८२ श्रावण ३ गते बिहीबार बिहानको ०८:०० बजेदेखि बिहान १०:०० बजेसम्म
टिप्पणी:उल्लिखित सबै कार्यक्रमको पूर्णाङ्क १०० र परीक्षा समयावधि दुई घण्टा हुनेछ । उम्मेदवारले एकभन्दा बढी शैक्षिक विषयमा आवेदन फारम पेश गर्न पाउने छैनन्।
२. अनलाइन आवेदन फारम पेश गर्ने शुल्क र समय :
फारम पेश गर्ने अन्तिम मिति:
मिति २०८२ असार २७ गते शुक्रबार बिहान ११:५९ बजेसम्म
आवेदन शुल्क:निशुल्क
नोट:अनलाइन फारम पेश (submit) गर्नु अघि सम्पादन (edit) गर्ने तथा प्रारावलोकन (preview) गर्ने प्रावधान राखिएको छ । फारम पेश (submit) गरी confirmation प्राप्त गरिसकेपछि महानगरपालिकाबाट स्वतः सम्पादन वा पुन थर्प कुनै पनि माध्यम अनुरूप गरेर फारम सम्पादन वा विवरण सच्याउन सकिने छैन ।
३. विभिन्न कार्यक्रममा आवेदन दिन आवश्यक न्यूनतम योग्यता :
क. SEE मा न्यूनतम १.६ GPA ल्याएको हुनु पर्नेछ ।
ख. समुदायिक विद्यालयबाट अध्ययन गरी SEE उत्तीर्ण गरेको
ग. काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाको सिफारिस सहितको नागरिकता वा बसाईसराईको प्रमाणपत्र
घ. काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाको वडा नं १, ३, ४ का स्थायी बासिन्दा (नागरिकता वा जन्मदर्ता) र सम्बन्धित विद्यालयको सिफारिस
ङ. सामुदायिक विद्यालयमा अध्ययन गरेकाले प्रमाणित कागजात
