Sky News host Chris Kenny says Netball Australia has “rejected” a ban on transgender athletes being handed down by the global netball governing body.
Netball Australia announced it has no plans to abide by World Netball’s decision to ban transgender players from international competition.
Mr Kenny slammed the move by the national sporting body.
“Netball Australia reckon if you’ve got male genitals, if you’re a bloke who wants to pretend he’s a woman, you can turn up and play netball,” Mr Kenny said.
“It is outrageous mistreatment of the girls and women who play this great sport.”
