Blackpool Pleasure Beach Vlog April 2024 | Amuseaholics

In this Vlog we visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort for our first visit of the 2024 season. It’s also our first time back at a full-sized amusement park in 2024 and we’re really happy to have got back on some of our favourite rides!

The 2024 season brings a welcome refurbishment to the classic Ghost Train. The Ghost Train was the opening in 1930 and was the first ride in the world to use the name “Ghost Train”. The historically significant attraction has also been called the worlds most haunted ghost train with real life paranormal activity reported. We took a ride and give our review of the newly refurbished attraction.

We also got back on many of our favourite rollercoasters including Icon, the big dipper, Nickelodeon streak, Avalanche and Infusion. We got some great footage of the rides and review how they are riding this season.

We also got back on one of our favourite dark rides anywhere in the world, The Wallace and Gromit : Thrill-O-Matic! We take you on with us for this quirky adventure through many of the famous Wallace and Gromit scenes with an on-ride POV.

Towards the end of the day we took on the recently refurbished Valhalla, which we haven’t ridden since the technical rehearsals. We give our review on the finished product around 11 months after technical rehearsals concluded.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach was operating well when we visited, and we had a lovely weekend there. It’s well worth a visit for any Rollercoaster / theme park enthusiast or for a family looking for a fun weekend away.
