Omloop van Vlaanderen 2025 - SS6: Houthulst 1 - all cars, double pass (raw footage)

The first stage on Saturday, day 2 of the 65th Omloop van Vlaanderen. A first pass on SS Houthulst, a looped stage this year. We went to the split point in the loop.

SS Houthulst is 11.81 km long.

Vincent Verschueren (2, Citroën C3 Rally2) starts the day with a scratch, 0.6 seconds before Cédric Cherain (1, Porsche 992 Rally GT). Niels Reynvoet (4, Citroën C3 Rally2) was 3rd on +2.1.

After Cherain lost 20s with a puncture on the final stage yesterday, his lead had shrinked to 3.1 seconds. So he stays in the lead, 2.4 seconds before Verschueren. Bjorn Syx (3, Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) is currently 3rd on +10.5.

M-Cup top 5:
1. Franky Boulat (26, BMW E36 M3) completed in 6:32.1 (avg 108.4 km/h)
2. Thierry Cokelaere (30, BMW 1M Coupé) +1.6
3. Tobi Vandenberghe (27, BMW E87) +5.4
4. Kurt Braeckevelt (29, BMW E36 M3) +6.7
5. Wouter Lievens (31, BMW E36 M3) +7.5

Boulat takes the lead from Vandenberghe and is now 4.9 seconds ahead. Cokelaere is currently in 3rd on +14.5. He lost 13 seconds with a puncture in the final stage on Friday.

Today there is also a division 2 rally with 14 competitors, but we could not stay since they came only 20 minutes after the final car. We had a schedule for 5 complete stages today (which succeeded!) and rushed to SS Zoning, where I recorded the next video (and also division 2).
