Charming Town Iceland Cruise Water Shuttle - Seydisfjordur Port

We spent a day in Seydisfjordur Iceland a tiny port town on our Iceland Cruise. We had to take a water Shuttle / tender to shore from the ship. Since we had issues with previous water shuttles we didn't make any plans for this port as we were unsure how long it would take to get off the ship.

Once on shore we stopped at the visitors center and were pleasantly surprised that they had car rentals available at a booth inside. We rented a car and took a road trip out to Studlagil Canyon stopping on the way back and a few waterfalls.

We had a great day exploring the canyon rim, some local waterfalls, and town before returning to the ship at this last port in Iceland on our Carnival Cruise from Dover England.
