You can only get this ending on special story mode but you don't get a clue on how to obtain this ending at all, you could just say this was discovered by dumb luck. And while it is interesting to see Keith transform into a vampire, it doesn't really change anything gameplay wise unless you're playing the Prince of Darkness mode ( • Countdown Vampires (PS1) - Prince of ... ) which has new melee attacks and enemies you don't see outside that mode.
For the normal + bad ending • Countdown Vampires - Normal Ending + ...
