As RC Jim was preparing to turn onto his final approach, the unthinkable happened: the motor quit! The 1.2m eFlite Mustang has enough problems of its own, the last thing it needs is to have a loss of power at such a critical time. Jim was able to glide in for a rather rough landing, but the big question remained. What was the cause of this loss of power, or was Jim just dreaming. Maybe it never happened! Fortunately a friend was videoing the flight, and Jim's Radiomaster TX16s is set up to record telemetry for every flight. Furthermore, the LemonRX 7 channel stabilized receiver had a current sensor to add that value to the telemetry. So, RC Jim digs into this investigation in detail, and comes up with what he figures was the culprit!
