Family Van Life Switzerland | Wild Park-ups, Campsites & Places to Visit With Kids

Hylo ! Shwmae ! Our summer on the road in Europe is no coming to a close. Our family of 4 take on 7 countries in 1 summer. We started our adventures in beautiful France, hopping over the border and into Italy, journeyingy northwards through Austria and Liechtenstein - and now we save the best til last - Switzerland . (Before a quick stop in Germany and France to de-gas before returning to our Motherland of Wales)

We toured Europe with our Children in our Ford Transit Mk7 Minibus conversion whom we lovingly called 'GROM.'

In this episode we travel in our mighty stead 'GROM' (converted Ford Transit XLWB mk7 minibus)from Liechtenstein and into Switzerland. Taking in the lakes - Walensee, Brienzersee, Thundersee and Interlaken. We do the alpine luge in Pfingstegg, hang out in Grindelwald and hike out of Lauterbrunnen up into Mürren and onto the flower garden in Almendhubel. We venture up to Gelmersee via the thrilling Gelmerbahn funicular before saying farewell to the wonders of Switzerland and spending a few wet days in the Black Forest on Germany. Finally venturing back into northern France to de-gas and have some relaxing 'campsite pool and chill' time before heading home.
