This week at Painted Love Studio, I dove into a new adventure with Fusion Mineral Paint's latest release: limestone and chalk paint! I decided to go for a white washed finish to knock out the golden tones of the oak .
This project had its challenges—what I thought would be a straightforward flat color paint job took a delightful turn. After discovering the bureau had been painted before, I decided to strip it back, only to find beautiful oak underneath! I just had to keep some of that gorgeous grain visible, so I opted for a soft lime-washed finish.
I do hope you enjoy the whole journey of this project. please feel free to ask any questions in the comment section I will always do my best to answer anything technical and if I don’t have the answers it’s such a warm engaging community where I know other people read the comments so who knows we will all learn something together.
