Why do we love buying new gear more than actually making music?
Inspired by High on Life by David JP Phillips, I explore dopamine stacking, G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome), and why chasing the next synth can feel better than playing it.
Through my own experience with modular synths and a simple sandwich metaphor, I talk about how to slow down, create more intentionally, and enjoy the process of music making.
Ciao!
