Protesters face off with ICE and State Troopers in Chicago

Protesters clashed with Illinois State Troopers and federal agents outside a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) processing center in Broadview, suburban Chicago, on Friday, October 3.

Footage shows demonstrators being pushed back by troopers, chanting at officers, and urging them to quit their jobs. At least a dozen protesters were arrested, while an armored vehicle and heavily armed guards were also deployed outside the facility.

The demonstrations are part of ongoing weekly protests following the Trump administration’s “Operation Midway Blitz” campaign, which increased immigration enforcement across Illinois.
