Update: So the console makes sounds when starting up but NO lights other than the Xbox power button.
When speaking to Microsoft about this, I was told that the videos posted online were unofficial and they could not be held liable for what those videos claimed and that returns and refunds were at the sole discretion of Microsoft. They considered the matter closed and that's all they responded.
So sorry to all the Minecraft fans who believed that.
An unboxing of the limited edition Xbox One S bundle that comes with a stand, creeper controller, and special edition Xbox One S design. Sorry for a bad camera shooting, I did this unboxing without any help.
