I Was a Background Extra in The Last of Us Season 1 Finale! (Episode 9)

I was lucky enough to be cast as a background extra in HBO's The Last of Us Season 1, Episode 9! The show was filmed across several locations in Alberta, Canada, and I got to play one of the Fireflies when they filmed the finale for the first season. Our scene was shot in Queen Elizabeth II hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

In this video, I tell the story of how I was cast as a background extra and what things were like on set. I first traveled from my home in Edmonton to Calgary for a wardrobe fitting, and then went to Grande Prairie to film an episode of the show. And yes, I even got to see Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey while they were filming!

At the end of this video, I'll build a diorama of the Hospital scene featuring action figures of Pedro Pascal and myself. I 3D-scanned my face with the Revopoint POP scanner, and built my own custom action figure in 1/6 scale.
