How I Make My Identity V Thumbnails

In this video I talk about how I make my classic Identity V thumbnails for my Identity V YouTube channel (linked below). This is my method/style and is not necessarily the most optimal or correct way to create these thumbnails, nor are they 100% perfect.

This tutorial is done in Adobe Photoshop. It can translate to Gimp, but buttons will likely be in different locations and not all the shortcuts will be the same - so if you use Gimp, it may take some extra work.

HOW TO SAVE PROPERLY:
I didn't address this in the video, but I recommend you save your thumbnail in 2 ways. One .PSD file, which is the photoshop file (or Gimp equivalent) and then another one as a .PNG or .JPG file. The .PSD is so you can go back to that project and open it again for edits, and the .PNG/.JPG is the exported image that you will upload to set your thumbnail.

To export thumbnails, go to "File" in the top left, then hit "Save As". Then select the file types I mentioned above and save two separate files.
