We visited Njabini Town, located in Kinangop Constituency, Nyandarua County — one of the coldest towns in Kenya and a place I proudly call home.

In this video, we take you through the heart of Njabini: from the bustling Sunday market to the iconic Sasumua Dam, which is a major water source for Nairobi. We also stopped by River Chania, which flows right through this beautiful agricultural town.

Njabini sits at the foot of the Aberdare Ranges, surrounded by green farms and fresh air. It's well known for potato and cabbage farming, dairy production, and its peaceful rural charm. Despite its small population, the town plays a big role in feeding the country, as Nyandarua is considered Kenya’s food basket.

You’ll also get a glimpse of the real life in Njabini — from the market scenes to the local roads and landscapes that define this cold gem in the highlands.
