Everlasting Vigil (MV)

I wanted to make a cool music video for my character, Vigil. I like how it turned out!

her story is basically this: dragonslayers have been killing dragons for their scales, their treasure, and just because humans find them to be a threat. Vigil was born from the dragons' anger, pain, etc. this is why she says "I am vengeance"

and even though she's a sweet dragon deep down, she knows the dragonslayers won't stop hunting her kin. she desperately wants to believe she's not the last dragon, but everywhere she goes she only finds bones, which she buries herself.

she also can't be killed and can regenerate/be reborn from any pool of lava. if she's injured she can just bathe in lava to heal. generally, she doesn't harm innocent humans, but she wont hesitate if they show hostility.

I made this video almost entirely with Vidu! All scenes with Vigil were generated with Vidu Q2 reference to image, then most were animated with Vidu Q2 Pro on Fal. I think there was only two Vigil scenes animated with Grok (a couple of the firebreathing ones)

The B-roll/extra scenes where Vigil isn't present were also Grok.

Vidu does a great job all around, and the new ref 2 image really helps speed things up though I hope for a storyboard option in the future.

Video wise, Q2's biggest weakness is that characters love to yap (move their mouths) for no reason, but everything else looks great. Plus, the prices are really fair! I'm hoping that this is resolved with the next big update. It's been great to watch Vidu grow and improve.
