Japan travel / Machida Aihara Walk to the Upper Sagami River via Border Roads , Tokyo / 4K UHD

Anywhere is fine. I get off at any station that comes to mind and walk, taking in the town's atmosphere. This journey began at Aihara Station in Machida, Tokyo. As the sound of the Yokohama Line trains faded into the distance, the outline of a mountain came into view through the gaps in the residential area. I rented a bicycle and headed uphill toward the upper reaches of the Sakai River. Cars continued to pass by on the narrow, old road, and with each breeze, a hint of autumn brushed against my cheeks.
Along the road, ancient ways of life intertwine, and people's lives flow as if straddling the border between Tokyo and Kanagawa. As I rode along, I began to understand, just a little, why this road was once called Machida Kaido. The trees beginning to turn red blurred in the distance, and a wind blew in front of Hosei University, signaling the end of the season.
Every time I stopped along my journey, the scenery changed. I rode, as if to confirm someone's daily life. It is during these mundane times of travel that the true beginning of my journey quietly breathes forth.
