"Ah, Colorado. A big breakthrough in my writing occurred my first winter in the Rocky Mountains. I guess all the classical music I had absorbed finally found its way to the surface. When we recorded the orchestra (at a Burbank movie stage) I did a major rewrite and kept 69 pieces two hours overtime. How grand to be young, extravagant, and totally unconscious of budgetary concerns." (Dan Fogelberg)
"Nether Lands" is the fourth album by American singer/songwriter Dan Fogelberg, released in 1977. The album is recorded at Caribou Ranch studio, Nederland, Colorado. Nederland is the Dutch name for the country known in English as the Netherlands. All songs written by Dan Fogelberg.
