We Didn’t Expect THIS Near Cabo… Hidden Hot Springs & Waterfalls

We left our apartment in La Paz Mexico and pointed the truck toward the unknown. No plan. No timeline. Just a Toyota TRD Off Road, a Four Wheel Camper project, and that familiar pull to chase freedom, waterfalls, and hot springs deep in Baja California.
This is what overlanding is all about. Slow travel. Dirt roads. Hidden beaches. Natural hot springs tucked into the desert. Freshwater waterfalls flowing into swimming holes you would never find without getting off the pavement.
Living the digital nomad van life dream in our truck, working remotely, meeting fellow travelers, and exploring Mexico beyond the resorts. From coastal beaches near Cabo San Lucas to remote desert oases, this journey reminded us why we chose this lifestyle in the first place.
