Episode Synopsis:
Ruby Barton's husband has been murdered, and the culprit is a former gangster now posing as a harmless old invalid. However, all the available evidence seems to point to Ruby's uncle as the killer. Roy and Dale don't believe it, though, and set out to trap the real killer.

"This episode begins with cantankerous Dan Barton being murdered from ambush. There are plenty of suspects, including Dan's young half Indian wife Ruby, her uncle Monty Elk Heart, and an old invalid newcomer and his daughter. Evelyn Finley plays Ruby. She had several acting credits but was primarily a stunt woman and was known as one of the best horseback riders in Hollywood. She does some good riding and stunt work in this episode, including a brief wrestling match with Dale. This is a very good episode with more plot and characters than usual."
