What is _Samurai vs Zombies Defense_?

_Samurai vs Zombies Defense_, officially abbreviated as SvZ, was a free action tower defense game available for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, produced by Glu Mobile and released on 2012, March 14 [2012/03/14] worldwide. In it, the player controls the heroic Samurai, summoning allies to defend the Sacred Gate from zombie and demon hordes. In a later update, the option to also play as the Legion was added in Zombies Rising, introducing new Allies, Zombies, and the Zombie Samurai.

A year after the game's release in 2013, it was followed up with _Samurai vs Zombies Defense 2_. This sequel adds 4 new Heroes as well as other content, but neglected to Zombies Rising from the first game.

The latest version of the game is v3.4.0, first released as early as 2013, January 03 [2013/01/03]. However, the game has since seen no updates, and was removed from Glu's website as early as 2013 with no explanation from the company. Although still available on some older devices, particularly those that had it previously installed, it is no longer discoverable on modern app stores.
