This film was developed as part of a Northern Innovation Hub project to support the Highlands and Islands Life Sciences sector to showcase their stories.

The Northern Innovation Hub is a project led by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE). It was awarded £11m from the UK Government as part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal. The deal is a joint initiative supported by £315m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, Highland Council, HIE and the University of the Highlands and Islands. It also has financial support through the European Regional Development Fund Scotland Programme.

HIE is an ambitious organisation with a unique remit that integrates economic and community development. We work in a diverse region which extends from Shetland to Argyll, and from the Outer Hebrides to Moray, covering more than half of Scotland's land mass.
