Calton Hill lies to the east side of Princes Street. Starting from Waterloo Place a flight of steep steps will take you up the hill. You will find National Monument, Nelson Monument, Royal Observatory, Dugald Stewart Monument, a Portuguese Cannon and a fantastic panaromic view of Edinburgh city. The Calton Hill is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. A very popular place to visit for the tourists and photography enthusiasts.
