7 REASONS TO VISIT THE AZORES

The Azores are nine volcanic islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We stayed in Horta on the island of Faial for two weeks while sailing across the ocean.

You won't be disappointed with the Azores. The people are super friendly and most speak at least some English so if you don't speak Portuguese, you can still get around easy enough. The climate is perfect (if you don't mind some rain). It's not too hot and not too cold. And if you're used to sky high European prices, you won't find them here.
