I spent the day exploring Cadiz, the oldest city in Western Europe, and I was completely blown away. I made the most of my day and fit in as much as I could see and do, from climbing the cathedral bell tower and wandering ancient Roman ruins to trying world-famous tuna at the central market, strolling through gorgeous parks, relaxing on La Caleta beach, and walking out to a castle on the edge of the Atlantic. Cadiz has layers of history around every corner and a laid-back vibe I wasn't expecting. I really loved it!
Do you have recommendations for other historic European cities or other stops in Spain I should visit? Leave a comment and let me know. I would love to hear them!
