My favorite thing about Avoriaz is the so called "snowcross", which is essentially a marked and secured freeride slope. similar to yellows in Switzerland, only these are marked blue/red/black depending on difficulty. This one is rated blue and has several natural jumps. It is also right under a lift so it is a perfect place for secure freeriding!
