Patchwork doesn't have to be scary!

I will admit that patchwork scared me. I had no idea that it was really this simple.

I was always so intimidated thinking that I had to match up everything perfectly, and then the thought of sewing all of those teeny, tiny pieces was scary enough to make me not even want to try.

Then I learned a little trick.

Making a patchwork panel is easier than you think.

🩵Cut your squares you your desired size, mine are 1 1/2”.
🩵Press them to the fusible side of the interfacing.
🩵 Sew one side of rows first, all going the same direction.
🩵Snip at each intersection, but be careful not to snip into the stitching.
🩵Press all rows.
🩵Fold the other side rows and sew.
