(Subtitle timing was 99% shamelessly ripped frame-by-frame from ZaMaBa's "Ultimate" video on this song! It saves time, spares me a MASSIVE headache and ZaMaBa does it right 95% of the time anyways!)
CONTEXT:
Sequel to "EXEC_HARVESTASYA/." from "Raka" (2006), an album by Akiko Shikata.
In that song, a priestess from a remote mountain village named Harvestasya went on a daunting journey westward to find a cure for a mysterious ailment that struck Myu; he was a boy she deeply loved but unfortunately, he already had an arranged marriage with a girl from another town.
At the end, she reached her destination — the "Singing Hill" of legend — and the Goddess that dwelled there agreed to teach her how to cure Myu, but on one condition. Before teaching her the Song that would cure him, she showed Harvestasya how the jealousy and ill feelings that boiled within her were causing him to suffer.
Having learned the cure, she immediately rushed back to her village and sang the Song to Myu, waking him up as if his ailment never existed. Moved by her self-sacrifice, he decided to take her hand in marriage.
Now this is where the events of this Song begin. On the 22nd day of the 8th month, the two were swearing their vows to each other at their marriage ceremony. But it would not be so easy for them for long, as Myu's (now) former fiancée was no ordinary girl, nor would she take this insult lying down...
ADDITIONAL NOTE: For those familiar only with the localized names, both 'Sarapatra' and 'Salapator' are the same entity.
Standard Hymmnos translated by: Yours truly, Aquagon, Lazy.
Japanese translated by: Aquagon, Lazy. Minor alterations made by me.
As a few lines of lyric here are similar to the ones in "EXEC_HARVESTASYA/.", I also consulted AbstractGarden's work.
