Back in the 1950s, there were two piano players working at Sun Records named "Jerry Lee" - one was Jerry Lee Lewis, the other was Jerry Lee Smith. to eliminate confusion, Smith used his high school nickname, "Smoochie" which he earned at a drive-in movie one night. Smoochie went to STAX Recording after Sun Records moved to a new location, and there he wrote and cut the million-selling hit called "Last Night". In this video, Smoochie plays his hit back in 2000 in Swifton, Arkansas with Sun Recording legends; Sonny Burgess (wearing a baseball hat on guitar), Billy Lee Riley (red coat on guitar), Ace Cannon on Sax, and D.J. Fontana on drums.
