matilda - marianne sheridan

trigger warning: complicated family dynamics, depression
marianne sheridan is a character that i first read about in the novel ‘normal people’ by sally rooney. the novel quickly became one of my favorite books. shortly after, the novel was adapted into a series and published on hulu.
we follow the two main characters, marianne and connell, as they go through high school and university. we follow along through their lives as they deal with relationships, family, and making/maintaining friendships. during this video i focus on marianne and her character development. marianne is easily one of my favorite characters in any series (daisy edger-jones does a lovely job portraying her).
