Catching SLABS at Crappie Fest 2025 | My First Crappie Tournament + MAJOR Life Event

What's up folks!?!? Welcome to the channel Fishing by the Numbers, my name is Will! In this video, I give updates on my recent life events and troubles with my vehicle. However, on this trip, I went up to Lake Fork for Crappie Fest 2025, which is the largest Crappie tournament in the world! There were well over 500 anglers there who fished from a boat, kayak, and the bank. Of course I did work from my #OldTown Auto Pilot! It was a big fish tournament, where the largest fish took home 1st place, but there were several opportunities for folks to take home money with exact weight catches for 1lb and every exact quarter pound increment, all the way up to 3lbs. Unfortunately no one caught a 3lb fish, but there were several over 2lbs caught. I put fish in the boat using a variety of #BobbyGarland baits, and flipped em in with my 8ft #ACCCrappieStix rod all while staying cool and protected in my #WindRiderGear.
