Nishiki Market | A foodie haven in Kyoto 🇯🇵 (MUST-TRY Food!)

Join us as we explore Kyoto’s kitchen — the famous Nishiki Market! 🇯🇵
We went twice and still didn’t manage to try even a quarter of what’s on offer. From viral butter soy scallops to grilled unagi, tamagoyaki sando, and my surprising favorite — the pickled tuna cutlet — this place is a street food heaven.

📍 Nishiki Market is over 400 years old and has earned its nickname as “Kyoto’s Pantry.” It’s the perfect place to sample Kyoto’s rich culinary culture, right in the heart of the city.

🍱 Here’s some of what we tried:
• Ikayaki (grilled squid)
• Viral butter soy scallops
• Grilled unagi
• Tamagoyaki sandwich
• Takotamago (baby octopus with quail egg)
• Pickled tuna cutlet
