Resort Hopping through Disneyland Hotels for the Beginning of Halloween Season | Disneyland 2024

Stepping into magic and into the Disneyland Resort for a Disneyland Resort Hotel swing through! This Disney walking tour has us stepping out of DCA and into the Grand Californian Hotel for our first stop. We enter the hotel from Grizzly Peak in DCA and head past the GCH pool, Napa Rose and Storytellers restaurants towards the main lobby. We love the GCH grand lobby, and on this walkthrough, caught live music near the relaxing fireplace. After listening to the live piano and singing and looking at a few items of Halloween merch (5:00), we step out through the beautiful front doors, get a final look at the front driveway and then cross over to our next stop, the Pixar Place Hotel! The Pixar Place Hotel is right across the street from the Grand Californian Hotel and is a very short walk. We head across Disneyland Drive and enter the Pixar Place Hotel as our second stop of the evening. After checking out the iconic Pixar lamp, we head into the Stor-E gift shop for a look around (15:00). Great Maple restaurant can be found at the end of the walkway, and after a brief pause, we head into the lobby for a look at the artwork throughout the first floor of Pixar Place hotel. The check-in desk is decorated with massive art pieces framed in iridescent lighting, featuring movies such as Wall-E, Monsters Inc., and Cars (16:40). We see some cool art frames of sketches of Remy, Buzz Lightyear, and Edna Mode and then head out towards the last stop, the Disneyland Hotel! The Disneyland hotel grounds are adorned with beautiful plants, trees, and foliage. We weave down the pathway towards Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace. The tiki torches look beautiful in the moonlight as they light the path towards the bridge overlooking the Disneyland Hotel pool (27:03). We find that Goofy’s Kitchen is still open and even spot a few characters. To our surprise, we even spotted Goofy when we walked inside! He was so silly and after hanging with him for a bit (31:00), proceeded through the hotel and out the front doors, just in time to catch Halloween Screams Fireworks from the Disneyland Hotel driveway.
