I find it ironic that one of the most natural things that we do in the box (pulling the baseball), coaches will emphasize that we do but rarely teach it to be done properly.

You find this especially at the youth levels where coaches will instruct right handed hitters to pull the baseball to keep it on the left side of the Diamond. No matter the effectiveness of this, it’s just not a sound plan for the future of that athlete. You’re engraving the bad habit of rolling over which can be a headache to reverse after years.
