For this build, we were aiming for a $700 price point. That's certainly achievable, but we opted to save a bit of money by reusing components we already had on hand. As a result, the price ended up a bit over our budgeted amount. However, by carefully choosing similarly specced components you should be able to easily come in under $700 for this build (at least, at the time of writing this).
For example, here's a part list that comes in roughly $50 cheaper for similar components ($679.14 at the time of posting this video):

BitFenix kindly provided the Comrade case for this build. It is styled simply and was straight-forward to work with. The space behind the motherboard tray is fairly shallow, so you'll want to spend extra time with cable management to avoid having trouble getting the side panel on. A modular or semi-modular power supply can help significantly with that. In the end I think we were still able to keep the cables fairly clean.
The removable drive bays worked great, and I really liked the slide apart design for the 3.5" bays. The 2.5" had the standard screw mounts.
