Interviews with Manchester City legend Tommy Booth, Bury and Manchester City fans, and ex-employees of Bell, provide a total insight into Bell's career, on and off the pitch. Legendary Manchester City duo, Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison, described him as the best they'd ever worked with.

Colin Bell was Manchester City's greatest player. An absurdly wonderful goal scorer and one of England's greatest ever players. Sadly, a fateful incident in 1975 would prevent Bell from reaching his full potential.
