From there, we'll delve into the world of trains at Neville Hill depot, where vintage steam engines of yesteryear have transformed into sleek modern machines.
Follow the tracks as we retrace the footsteps of the Selby to Leeds railway, passing through deep cuttings, towering bridges, and even an eerie much altered tunnel. Imagine the hustle and bustle of bygone eras as we walk alongside the tracks, picturing the steam and smoke billowing from locomotives of the past.
Our exploration culminates at the former goods yard and station at Marsh Lane. In the concluding part of the walk I will head to Leeds Railway Station, a testament to the city's rich industrial heritage and its enduring role as a major transportation hub.
