Welcome to a cozy and realistic glimpse of our family life at home 🤍

This vlog captures simple moments shared meals, grocery stockvel blessings, homemade food, rainy-day homemaking, and reflections on building better routines for the year ahead.

We begin with my family enjoying an outdoor lunch, followed by a grocery haul of what we received through our stockvel this year. I later prepare a simple homemade meal using pilchards (tinned fish), a favorite in many Namibian homes. We sit together on the floor, say a short prayer (my baby joins in 🤍), and enjoy the meal as a family.The following day is all about homemaking. I remove and wash all the curtains while sharing my thoughts on adding curtain washing and baking into my regular cleaning routine in 2026. As the rain starts pouring and I worry about my curtains drying, I keep busy by ironing my son’s laundry and enjoying the calm of a rainy day at home.
