Nifty - Simplified P10 for PAYE Return on iTax

Simplified P10 PAYE Return for iTax:

1. Download the new P10 format from your iTax online account

2. Update your Nifty to ensure you have the newly added Simplified P10 return format

3. Export the Simplified P10 CSV

4. Open the KRA P10 Excel file and input first page details

5. Go to Employees sheet and import CSV

6. Confirm your figures in column X match Y.

Y is your self-assessed PAYE (calculated by Nifty)
X is KRA's calcution based on the data imported

Issue to look out for:

The first row of the KRA Excel file does not compute Taxable Pay and shows PAYE as 0.

I don't know if this is a bug in the Excel file or in the Nifty CSV. See if you get the same.

(But if the other X vs Y match you can assume the first row is also correct.)
