The 2025 San Diego County Fair is an annual event held every summer, this year it's running from June 11th to July 6 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays. The fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
This year's theme is “Summer Pet-tacular," there's plenty of fresh fun to experience at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. There are 18 new rides, including The Kraken which, at 80 feet tall, swings thrill-seeking riders for a span of about 145 feet. Roller coaster enthusiasts can take a spin on The Raptor, also new this year.

Fairgoers can purchase admission in person or online. Visit SDFair.com to buy your tickets, plus see which days are more likely to have heavy crowds.Tickets for adults start at $16 if purchased in advance and for certain weekdays. Buying the tickets day-of and visiting on a Friday or a weekend costs more, up to $25 for adults. Discounts are available for senior and youth guests. Children 5 and under get free admission.
Parking at the fairgrounds starts at $20 for general, with entrance at the Main Gate or the Solana Gate.
For preferred parking, pay $50 and enter at the Preferred Parking Gate.Guests looking to save some cash can park two miles east of the fairgrounds at Del Mar Horsepark (14550 El Camino Real) for $10 or at Canyon Crest Academy (5951 Village Center Loop Rd.) for free, then hop on a free shuttle to the fair's main entrance.
Fairgoers can purchase parking in advance on SDFair.com. Parking lots both on and off-site open at 10 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.
