This Ezkem.com video series will be examining the UV digester used for Total Cyanide. UV digesters are used for total CN analysis. The UV digester is used to break the iron compounds quickly and easily that usually require distillation allowing you to read results directly from the sample collection vial. UV digesters save time, eliminate the need for expensive glassware and do not require the use of toxic chemicals such as pyridine and barbituric acid.
