Drosera neocaledonica is a very unique tropical/subtropical sundew that does not require dormancy. Follow François Mey's advice for this species on this page: http://carnivorousockhom.blogspot.com... by providing it with warmer, tropical temperatures year-round for the most rapid growth. In cooler conditions, Drosera neocaledonica will grow much slower. This plant has struggled on and off for me for the past 2 years, and has finally settled into a peat:sand mix in a 4" tall pot. Other growers report success with living long-fiber sphagnum, but peat:sand has worked most consistently for me.
