Begonia X Hybrid Dragon Wing is a mix between two begonias it grows best in part shade to an average size of 3 feet high to 3 feet wide. It has this beautiful green glossy leaves and abundant clusters of red color flowers. It flowers all year long! I call it my romantic plant because is such a wonderful treat to have on any day. It always brightens my days to see it lovely blooms. It grows in zones 9 – 11 so if you grow in a zone 7 like me you will need to bring it back inside once the temperatures get colder. The plant does not produce seeds but it can be propagated by divisions or cuttings. Most people use it as a mounding plant, of hanging basket plant, but I use it as a vine. In this video I show you how I am using branches and ties to train the plant into having the shape that it has.
