The Greek word Paul uses—agathōsynē (ἀγαθωσύνη)—reveals that goodness is far more than simple kindness. It is moral excellence that flows from a Spirit-filled heart, marked by integrity, generosity, and a deep concern for the welfare of others. True goodness is not passive—it actively blesses, protects, and serves.

Bishop Moultrie highlights three key truths:
Goodness Reflects God’s Character – Since God is inherently good (Psalm 34:8, James 1:17), our lives should mirror His nature as we bear His image.

Goodness Requires Courage – Romans 12:21 reminds us that goodness isn’t weak; it is bold and uncompromising, choosing righteousness even when it costs us.

Goodness Impacts Others Eternally – Every act of goodness points people to Christ (Matthew 5:16, Titus 3:8), leaving a lasting imprint on lives and destinies.
