As the world implements a vaccination program for Covid-19, we can look to WWII history to learn more about the process. During World War II, scientists developed a promising treatment for infections in a drug called Penicillin, and by the end of the war, research into a flu vaccine reached a useful version. In this program, you will learn from our Museum STEM educator about the history of medicine in World War II and how it still impacts our world today. Suitable for all ages but most appropriate for grades five and up.
