What happens when a "simple" DIY project turns into a complete disaster? We bought the cheapest, wheels we liked on Facebook Marketplace to see if we could make them look brand new for our project car, and EVERYTHING went wrong.
Follow our complete, step-by-step guide as we take on this budget build for our Honda Civic. We show you our process for fixing deep curb rash, and even how we tackled a severely bent wheel with basic tools (and a big hammer!). But the problems didn't stop there. Our plan to lower the car was halted by a snapped suspension bolt, forcing us into a crazy temporary fix just to get the car home. This is the realistic story of a DIY project where if it could go wrong, it did!
