It's common to see weeds germinating after you aerated and seeded!

Shortly after aerating and seeding in the fall, some people notice new weeds germinating. Often, they think it came from the grass seed but if you're using a quality seed with no weed seed...then this isn't the case. It's coming from the soil as a result of the aeration process. It's not a big deal!
