Bonnie Lou was queen of Midwestern U.S. television and beyond in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's, as she starred on The Paul Dixon Show & The Ruth Lyons 50-50 Club that originated in Cincinnati, Ohio, plus the nationally syndicated Midwestern Hayride; her King record releases were distributed throughout the world which provided her with some big hit records, including Seven Lonely Days, Daddy-o, Just Out of Reach and Tennessee Wigwalk. When her King Records contract expired, RCA Victor courted Bonnie with a major label contract, but she elected to stay local, and signed with another Cincinnati based label, Fraternity Records. In this delightful, fun, video Bonnie tells her life story in her own words and shares some video gems from her days at WLW, and even David Letterman gets a mention!
