Arrival of the hedgehog "Mango" to be released into the wild - Recke, Germany - Sept. 09, 2021

Who is "Mango"?
Mango is a wild female hedgehog that I received from a hedgehog sanctuary for release on Sept. 09, 2021. "Mango" got its name from the NatureTec community because a young hedgehog named "Kiwi" already lives in the garden. Mango had lost her mother and therefore had to be hand-reared. At 3 weeks old, Mango was ready to be released into the wild. I show Mango the feeding station and the hedgehog house so that she can memorize it - from now on, Mango lives in freedom.

How is mango now?
Mango then ate plenty for a few months, gained a lot of weight and went into hibernation in November. We hope to see Mango again in a few weeks after hibernation.

Notice: This hedgehog is wild, free and can leave the place at any time.
It's not locked up and its not a pet!
