It’s easy to realise that you’ll make the fastest progress if you practice everyday. But much harder to show up consistently and actually DO it.

Here are a few simple things you can do to improve the consistency and effectiveness of your music practice. I’ve used these myself to be super-consistent with my practice over periods of years… Just apply one or two of these and you’ll start to see much better results.

Have your aims and WHY in place before you start

Keep your plan short and manageable

Practice at a set time each day

Have each day's practice topic carefully planned out in advance

Set up your practice space to make things easy
